Putnam ran into two outstanding international players
The players are in the middle of Day Two at the Big Apple 9-Ball Challenge and seeded players are falling from the field.
#13 ranked Shawn Putnam was eliminated after two matches. He suffered losses to Ching-Shun Yang and Young Hwa Jeong. #4 ranked Danny Harriman was eliminated by Raj Hundal on the one-loss side Saturday. Home town favorite Tony Robles was sent to the bleachers by Troy Frank and Jarrod Clowery.
Sixteen players remain on the winners side as of this writing. Marquee winners side matchups for the next round include Mika Immonen vs Efren Reyes and Francisco Bustamante vs Santos Sambajon.
