Get ready for an electrifying week of pool action as Puerto Rico gears up to host its third annual pool extravaganza at the Puerto Rico Convention Center from November 10th to November 16th, 2024! Continuing its tradition as the Pool Capital of the World, the Puerto Rico Billiard Expo 2024 promises to bring together the best pool players from around the globe, alongside international league players and passionate fans.

The main event of the week will be the VenBilliards Corporation WPA Women’s World 10-Ball Championship 2024. This prestigious tournament will feature 48 of the best female players in the world, competing for a total prize fund of $175,000, with $50,000 awarded to the champion. Originally scheduled to take place in Venezuela, this world championship has been rescheduled to Puerto Rico, with the competition kicking off on November 11th and concluding on November 16th.
The Puerto Rico Men’s Open, non-WPA sanctioned, will see 64 top players compete for a share of the $60,000 total prize fund, based on full field. The Men’s Open will take place from November 11th to November 15th, allowing players to travel to the International Open afterward. Registrations will open in September, so keep an eye out for the announcement.
Adding to the excitement is the Mixed Doubles Invitational, a one-day event taking place on November 10th, featuring a $25,000 prize fund and an exhilarating format that has thrilled fans in past events. And for the first time, the Challenge of Champions will bring together all the WPA world champions in a high-stakes round robin showdown. More details about the Challenge of Champions will come soon.

Between the leagues and pro tournaments, over 1,000 players will compete in the Puerto Rico Billiard Expo, drawing more than 15,000 fans to the Puerto Rico Billiard Expo. This grand finale of the pro billiard series will close out a fantastic season that has seen 12 tournaments, the crowning of five new world champions, and over $1.5 million in prize funds.
