Steve won several major tournaments in his day, including the 1970 Stardust all-around title. His favorite game was One Pocket, but he played all games well. He was known as the "Cookie Monster" in the Dayton, Cincinnati and Lima areas of Ohio where he has played pool for almost every day since he returned to this area from Florida about 8 years ago.
