The pool world lost another legend on Saturday morning as Johnny Ervolino passed away at his home in Las Vegas. Ervolino suffered a heart attack a week ago and was recovering from that when he had another heart attack on Saturday morning.
While Ervolino was most known for his straight pool game, he was also a champion one pocket player. Ervolino had reportedly ran 300+ balls playing straight pool less than a year ago. Not only was Ervolino a great player, but he was also a great teacher who helped a number of current players with their games.
Ervolino was with his daughter, whom he lived with, when he passed on Saturday morning.
