In the Professional Pool World, Kielce now sits alongside cities such as Las Vegas, Doha and Shanghai. The Polish Dynamic Billard 10-Ball Open tournament begins!
The Polish Dynamic Billard 10-Ball Open World Cup – KIELCE 2024 will start on March 14. The prize pool is as much as $80,000 USD.
The tournament will be played on March 14-17 at the Grand Hotel Kielce. During these days, 128 players from over 30 countries will compete on 16 tables. Among them, there are many titled athletes, such as Ralf Souquet, Wojciech Szewczyk, Sanjin Pehlivanovic, Eklent Kaci, Alexander Kazakis, and Denis Grabe.
– Another international billiards event in Kielce shows that the sport of billiards brings people together. We have the support of governments, local governments, social organizations and private business entities from three continents – Europe, Asia and North America. We have players from 32 countries around the world and a large group of fans who love billiards. This is the driving force for action – says Marcin Krzeminski, president of the East European Billiard Council, tournament director.
The ambassadors of the tournament are the legendary handball player Sławomir Szmal and the coach of the Korona Kielce football club, Kamil Kuzera. – By selecting ambassadors, we want to show that sport in Kielce brings people together – says Grzegorz Kędzierski, vice-president of the Polish Billiards Association.
Fans around the world will be able to follow the competition via a live broadcast on the TVSPORTS.PL channel. Matches from all 16 tables will be covered. Additionally, coverage from the main table will be broadcast live on US channels (BilliardTV) and rebroadcast on Sportklub.
