Poison Billiards Support Team USA Again at WPA World Junior Championships
September 24, 2014 (Denver, CO): For the second year in a row, Predator Group, through its Poison Billiards division, is outfitting the U.S. Junior National Team at the upcoming WPA World Junior 9-Ball ChampionshipsNovember 15-19 in Shanghai, China. The Billiard Education Foundation (BEF), who qualified these nine student-athletes through their annual Junior National 9-Ball Championships, is once again thrilled for their underwriting support.
Each of the nine team members, including leader Earl Munson and coach Karen Corr will receive a custom Sportek polo shirt in patriotic colors, printed with event and national logos. This financial support enables the organization to direct more funds to its other youth billiard programs.
“Poison by Predator is honored to support the Billiard Education Foundation by sponsoring the 2014 U.S. Junior National Team’s shirts,” said Jani Haney, Predator Group Sponsorship Manager. “The BEF works diligently to promote billiards, sportsmanship, and academic scholarship – values Predator Group shares,” continued Haney. “We wish Devin, Michelle, Ricky, Taylor, Manny, April, Rachel, Nick, Sam, and coaches Munson and Corr, all the best as they travel to compete at the World Junior Championships in Shanghai, China.”
