Two weeks prior to the start of the 36th annual US Open 9-Ball Championships at the Chesapeake Conference Center in Chesapeake, VA, the Planet Pool Tour will host a $1,000-added event at Q-Master Billiards in nearby Virginia Beach, VA. In addition to the prize money being offered, the winner of this October 1-2 stop on the Planet Pool Tour will qualify for entry into the US Open.
Doors will open at Q-Master Billiards for sign-ups on Saturday, October 1 at 10 a.m., with play scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. Format for the 9-ball event will be double elimination with races to 9 on the winners' side and 7 on the one-loss side.
In addition to a $35 annual member fee, entry fees for the event are as follows:
Men Pro/Open - $100
Women Pro/A - $75
B - $60
C/D - $50
