RIP Peter Hawley
The sad news has been confirmed that one of cuesports most highly respected ambassadors has passed away. His life ended from a heart attack suffered at his home on September 4th.
Peter was a tremendous driving force in establishing a cuesports network and rewarded for his tireless hard work by representing the World Pool / Billiard Association as Vice President and also as an International Olympic Committee delegate.
Peter was a champion in the advancement of English 8Ball and dedicated much of his time to promoting the small ball game not only in his native South Africa but also on the world stage.
His dream was to one day unite the sport so that it could finally move forward and take its place among other globally recognised sports.
He will be sadly missed and all from Cue Club International.com would like to send our deepest condolences to his family.
