The Pechauer Tour pulled into The Cadillac Ranch Casino in Longview, Washington for the second time this season. 75 players showed up from all over the Pacific NW, California, and Canada to compete in the $1500 added event. A regular laundry list of top West Coast talent will be battling it out over the weekend including recent BCA Open qualifier winner Tinsley Johnson, as well as the Reno Open's 3rd place finisher Canadian champion Mike "The Kid" Vidas. These two, as well as Paul Potier, Stan Tourangeau, point's leader Glenn Atwell and others are using this stop as a tune up to the Bar Table Championships which is scheduled to start this week at the Sands in Reno, NV.
In an atypical twist of fate, it seemed that friends who had travelled together ended up on opposite ends of the tournament board. Linda Carter and hubby Mike Zimmerman, Paul Potier and road partner Mike Vidas, Deb Wellfringer and Larry Francisco, Mary Hopkin and Dan Coffman were among the many pairs of friends or family not scheduled to face one another until deep into the winner's bracket!
Azbilliards will keep you posted with up-to-date information all weekend long.
