Drexeline Billiards in Drexel Hill PA was the scene of the 2nd stop of the Hampton Ridge 9 Ball Tour. Special thanks to owner Bob Maidhof for hosting the event.
37 players showed up for an exciting event. Leading the way on the winners side was Lee Holt and Billy Kirshner. Billy took care of the top half of the bracket by beating Bob Mapes 7-0, Tim Tanana 7-6 Pat McNally 7-4 and Josh Brothers 7-6.
On the bottom half of the bracket it was Lee Holt leading the way with wins over Frankie Hernandez 7-5, Keith Christman 7-2, Jerry Troisi 7-1 and Phil Sherman 7-4 setting up a battle for the hot seat against Billy Kirshner. The match was one sided with Lee Holt taking control of the match and cruising to a 7-3 win giving him the hot seat and sending Billy Kirshner to the one loss side.
The big story was Pat McNally. After losing to Billy Kirshner 7-4, Pat went through the one loss side one match at a time, beating Trenton Marty 7-2, Josh Brothers 7-1 and Phil Sherman 7-6. Pat got another chance at Billy Kirshner and this time it was Pat knocking Billy out of the tournament with a 7-6 win.
In the finals it was Pat McNally vs Lee Holt. This was a great match going back and forth. The match finally went hill-hill with Pat McNally winning 9-8.
