It was a different weekend and a different field of players, but the same result for Xiaoting Pan as she won her second straight WPBA qualifier at the Ladies Spirit Tour stop at Strokers Billiards in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Pan started the day Sunday on the winners side where she won a tight hill-hill match against Denmark's Charlotte Sorenson. That match would be the last time anyone came even close to beating her. She went on to defeat WPBA Touring Pro Tracie Hines 7-3 for the hot-seat.
Hines went to the left side of the board and defeated 'Jumpin' Janet Atwell to earn another shot at Pan in the finals.
Hines would have to beat Pan twice in the finals to earn the touranment win, but that result wasn't in Pan's plans as she cruised to a 7-1 win in the finals.
Pan earned $875 in addition to the qualifier, while Hines settled for $650. Atwell and Sorenson filled out the top four spots.
The event was a $1500 added WPBA qualifier thanks to Strokers room owner Jose Del Rio and the Spirit Tour's Title Sponsor LTL Universe. The Spirit Tour's next event will be at Rax of Titusville on February 18th - 19th.
