There won't be much of a gap between tour seasons, but the 2006 Pechauer Tour season promises to be a great one!
The 2005 season comes to a close October 23rd at Hard Times Billiards in Sacramento, California. The 2006 season kicks off at The Billiard Palacade in San Francisco, Ca on November 13th and 14th with a $2000 added 9-ball event.
After the kick off, the Pechauer Tour will make its way to Tacoma, Wa at City Lights Billiards November 25th - 26th, then Tigard, Or at Break Time Billiards just before the Reno Open on December 3rd - 4th.
The 2006 season has newly designed tour cards available when members register, and the first half of the 2006 season will be finalized by mid-October and posters will be distributed to rooms that carry On The Wire in late October. In addition to committed sponsors Pechauer Custom Cues, Porper's Creative Inventions, Simonis Cloth, Aramith Billiard Balls, Accu-Stats Video Productions, Silver Cup Chalk, Tiger Products, Billiards Press, and Deadstroke Designs, the new training aide "The Spider" will be joining the prestigious list of sponsors, as well as TG Billiard Promotions, promoter of the $45,000 added Gold Country Casino 8-Ball World Bar Table Championships.
Three stops within the first quarter of the new season will be qualifiers for the Open Singles event at Gold Country Casino. On The Wire will announce the stops in the next issue as soon after the intended host locations agree.
