After a dominating 11-6 win over Niels Feijen, Thorsten Hohmann will face Gabe Owen in the finals of the 29th Annual US Open 9-Ball Championship.
Earlier on Sunday, Owen scored an 11-7 win over Hohmann to advance to the finals. Hohmann then defeated Feijen to earn his rematch with Owen.
Feijen dropped an 11-3 decision to Mika Immonen earlier in the event, but came back with four wins on the one-loss side before meeting up with Hohmann in the semi-finals. Although Feijen led 5-3, Hohmann took control of the match from there and only allowed Feijen one more game win in the match.
The final match will get underway at 7:30 EST and will be broadcast online as part of the Billiard Club Network Online PPV.
The winner of this event will pocket $30,000 in prize money, while the runner-up will take home $15,000. Feijen earned $10,000 for third place.
Online brackets are updated and photos from the event are available in Carol Whiteside's online photo gallery.
