Day two is underway at the 14th Annual US Bar Table Championship, and the field has been thinned.
Possibly the biggest favorite to be shown to the stands so far is Gabe Owen. Owen won his first two matches on the winners side, but then lost to Rafael Martinez and then Sal Butera on the one loss side. Owen finished out of the money. Another shocking early elimination was Ernesto Dominguez. Dominguez started his event with two wins and then lost to James Walden and Austin Murphy. Murphy will face Jeff Whitehead in his next match.
Top players still playing on the winners side include Kim Davenport, Warren Kiamco, Gandy Valle, Shane Van Boening, Jui-Lung Chen, Tyler Edey, Glenn Atwell, Rafael Martinez.
