Eleven determined players made their way to Park N Back Billiards in Panama City on February 27, 2005 to play in the newly-formed Fury North Florida Tour's second stop.
Robert Otto started off by drawing a first-round bye and then taking a 7-3 win over room owner Lee Paul. Otto went on to take two back-to-back 7-4 victories to secure his place in the finals.
Falling to Otto in the hot seat match was Otis McGrew who had to jump right into the semifinals against Lee Paul who had also lost to Otto. The match was tied up at 4-all in a race to five when Paul took the final game to give himself a rematch against Otto.
Paul had played strong to sort out the loser's bracket with scores of 5-1, 5-2, 5-1 and 5-4. The finals were tight until the end when things got close at 8-7 with Otto in the lead. The last game fell to Otto and he took the match at 9-7 along with first place, leaving Paul in 2nd.
McGrew and Justin 'Mase' Mason took 3rd and 4th, respectively.
