Dennis Orcollo bounced back from a second round loss to John Morra and defeated Shin Park in the finals to win the Bill Staton Memorial held June 22-24 at Q Masters Billiards in Virginia Beach, Va.
Park took the hot seat with a win over Jeff Abernathy, but it was Orcollo scoring an 11-6 win over Park.
Tournament promoter Barry Behrman was planning on adding $7200 with a full field of 64 players. Although the field was only 31 players, Berhman still added a whopping $6800 to the prize fund.
Orcollo earned $3000 for first with Park settling for $2000. Abernathy and Larry Nevel filled out the top four places.
