Polish 10-Ball Open Winner Daniel Maciol
Poland will once again host a large billiards event. After the 9-ball World Championships and the Polish 10-ball Open, it is time for the second WCBS World Championships, which will be held in Kielce on July 25-28, 2024. We met the tournament sponsors.
We are pleased to announce that the WCBS Committee has resolved the tender competition. Tournament participants will play snooker on WIRAKA tables, carom on MIN Table, heyball on Joy, and pool on Rasson. It is worth adding that each table will feature Aramith balls and Andy cloth.
The event will take place at the Grand Hotel Kielce, which is known for hosting many international billiards events. WCBS Championship Poland 2024 will start on Thursday, July 25, and will end on Sunday, July 28. Player lists are being compiled.
During WCBS Championship Poland 2024, the best continental teams will face each other in four billiards disciplines: pool, carom, snooker and heyball. A total of 48 players and staff members will come to the capital of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
Six teams will take part in the competition: a team from North America and South America, a team from Africa and Oceania, and two teams from Europe and Asia. Each team consists of eight people (four male and four male players). The prize pool is $140,000.
The live broadcast will be available on the Internet. Online coverage will be provided by TVsports.pl. Dariusz Góral will be responsible for broadcasting the live results.
