The Derby City Classic One Pocket finals are underway with Larry Nevel facing Gabe Owen. Nevel defeated Francisco Bustamante 3-0 in the semi-finals, while Owen was able to sit comfortably waiting for an opponent.
These two faced off once already, with Owen scoring the win. Owen still has a buyback option available, so Nevel will have to defeat him twice.
Meanwhile, the sixth round of the 9-ball division is underway with marquee matches including David Grossman vs Allison Fisher, Shane Van Boening vs Helena Thornfeldt and Tony Watson vs Gabe Owen after Owen finishes the one pocket division.
Saturday will see the finals of the straight pool challenge event at Derby City and Darren Appleton will face Niels Feijen in a race to 150 on the accu-stats table.
