Morris Mosconi Poll Lead Narrows!

THERE are just four voting days left to go as the ‘Mosconi Cup Idol'
poll heads for the home straight and it is Hawaii's Rodney Morris who
still leads the way, although it is now getting close.

Charlie Williams (Florida) is maintaining his second place position
and closing the gap on Morris, but the big movers have been Dennis
Hatch and Stevie Moore.

These two have enjoyed big surges in popularity to move within range
of the two leaders and with some concerted campaigning over the final
days, they could see themselves in serious contention.

For Morris, though it is about hanging in there to seal his seventh
PartyPoker.net Mosconi Cup appearance but with Williams less than 4%
behind Morris in the vote, it could be a fifth Mosconi for the ‘Korean
Dragon'.

Whoever it may be though, they will be joining Oscar Dominguez, Corey
Deuel, Shane Van Boening and Johnny Archer when the two teams line up
from 10-13 December at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

Taking place on www.matchroompool.com the ‘Idol' poll has attracted
thousands of voters over the first week and looks set to continue up
till midnight UK time on Sunday 15th when the vote will close.

The results to date are:

Rodney Morris           23.04%
Charlie Williams         19.26%
