‘Montana' Morgan Steinman grabbed her third consecutive ‘Player
of the Year' title again this year with the 2007 spot being her second
victory through the JPechauer Northeast Women's Regional Tour. Last
year she accomplished an unprecedented ‘double dip win' with Regional
Tour titles from both JPNewt and the Mcdermott Cues New England Women's
Regional Tour.
This accomplishment was
not her only objective for '07. Beginning with her first ever ‘top
ten' finish at the WPBA's North Carolina Classic, a consistent year
on tour and a great 17-24th finish at the WPBA Nationals just this past
November in Oregon; Morgan went from a ranking start of 59th
and climbed up to the number 40 spot. This achievement gives Morgan
a one year exemption to play with the WPBA for the 2008 season.
With the help and sponsorship
of RT9 Designs Art and Apparel Co., Allen Hopkins Productions
and many friends from the Bitterroot Valley in Montana; it all went
a long way to help Morgan keep her eyes on the horizon. She is quite
pleased with her efforts this year and has learned a lot from being
on tour with the world's best and looks forward to applying a few
new applications to her game.
Additionally in 2007, she
helped launch a new sporting goods, art and apparel company ‘KwikFire,
Inc.,' with Kelly Fisher, Val Finnie and Artist Linda Pault. She
is a member of the first 2007 ‘Team
KwikFire' that also includes Pro Player's Tiffany Nelson, Kim
Shaw and Gerda Hofstatter.
Morgan heads west, back
to Montana for the Holidays each year and works on her plans for the
future, trains and most importantly ‘get her energy' pumped up from
the Montana Mountains and the beautiful Bitterroot Valley.
