Hello everyone and with only 20 days left before this year's U.S. Open I just want to say thank you all for your support the last several months.
I had both of my knees partially replaced in April, then had complications from surgery and it's been a long and lonely time to heal. Thanks to my beautiful daughter Shannon, who helped to ease the pain by coming to my home after surgery, took me out to dinner with her family, and more. I should be be-bopping around by the U.S. Open.
I also want to assure all players that all will be well, everyone paid on time, and let's have another memorable U.S. Open. We are hoping to have another full field of 256 players and if not it will still be grand. I will still be paying through the 96th spot of the tournament.
What I would like more than anything is for everyone to have a great time and leave the past in the past. Let's all move on to happy times while enjoying our 36th annual U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships. I'm getting geared up and I hope all others are also. So let's have a great time.
Players meeting, deadline, and draw is Saturday October 15th, 12-6pm, not mandatory if paid, and at 6pm. Play begins Sunday October 16th at 11am. Shannon and I look forward to seeing you all there.
