The California State Women's 9 Ball Championships returns after a 6 year hiatus. Melissa Herndon, the last California State Women's 9 Ball Champion, has partnered with Hollywood Billiards, in Hollywood, CA, who will host the $1500 plus added event May 31st, - June 1st, 2008. The tournament will include raffles for a donated Morris Custom Cue valued at $700, and a 7 day/6 night Bahamas' Cruise donated by Incentives International*.
The field will be limited to 64 players. The entry fee is $55 prepaid, which must be received no later than May 26, 2008: Entry fee the day of is $65. Those wishing to qualify for the US Open must also pay the WPBA Conditional Membership dues of $35 prior to the start of tournament play. The format is double elimination, race to 7 (9 foot tables). The mandatory player's meeting is at 9:30am and play begins promptly at 10:00am.
