A field of forty four players made their way to Snookers Cafe and Billiards in Providence, RI for the latest stop on the Joss NE 9-Ball Tour.
The winners side came down to Dave Fernandez and Jay McCaughey. The match for the hot-seat was close by McCaughey pulled it out 9-7 to earn his first Joss tour hot-seat.
On the one loss side, Fernandez made quick work of Paul Dryden 9-4 and make his way to the finals against McCaughey.
The first set of the finals went to Fernandez 9-6, but McCaughey came back to win the second set 9-7 for his first Joss Tour win.
The Joss Tour will be at Diamond Eight Billiards in Latham, NY for their next event on December 2nd and 3rd. Tour director Mike Zuglan is taking entries now for the Turning Stone Classic VIII 9-Ball Open scheduled for February 22nd - 25th, 2007. Interested players can reach Zuglan at 518-356-7163.
