Max Eberle closed out the field undefeated to win the remaining USA World 10 Ball Qualifier at California Billiard Club
8 participants came back today to see who would be making travel plans, but this ticket had Max Eberle's name preprinted. In fitting style Max, the highest rated USPPA player, beat managing partner Tony Annigoni 9 to 2 to take the Hot Seat and again 9 to 2 as Annigoni beat Corey Harper 9 to 8 to get another shot at Max.
Other notable matches were Annigoni over George Michaels 9 to 8 and Harper over Michaels 9 to 8. Michaels, one of the most consistent competitors in Northern California ended up on the short end of two key matches.
Corey Harper made the out of the tournament versus Michaels to win the hill game with two tough banks and perfect position the rest of the way to get to Annigoni.
Everyone had a great event and many thanks again to Chris Swart and Ben Farmer for hosting the event.
