The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour was back in action this weekend at Cornfed Red's Billiard Café in Columbus Ohio for a $1000 added 8-ball event.
Hunter Lombardo stunned the crowd by cruising through the winners side, including a 7-2 victory over Eric Durbin for the hot-seat.
Durbin took the trip to the one-loss side where he then lost to Butch Poe in the semi-finals. This set up a final match between Lombardo and Poe.
Poe won a hard fought first match 7-5 to force a final race to five for the tournament win. Lombardo won the final match 5-3 for the victory.
Lombardo won $820 for first place, while Poe settled for $580 in second place prize money. Durbin and Roy Thomas filled out the top four spots.
