Heather Lloyd, from Austin, TX, had an amazing, consistent year in 2007 on the Hunter Classics Amateur Women's Tour. She captured her SECOND Hunter Classics Tour Champion title in back-to-back fashion as she was the 2006 Hunter Classics Tour Champion as well!
t the start of the Season Finale tournament, Heather was only 50 points ahead of Leslie Anne Rogers. By Sunday afternoon, Heather defeated Leslie Anne for the hotseat which sealed the amount of points she needed to win the title.
Heather stated at the end of the tournament, "I'm so honored to win this title again," she paused and continued, "There is a lot talent on the Tour." Heather attended every stop this year and her improvement and consistency are impressive: THREE first place finishes and FOUR second place finishes - that's seven out of ten events where she placed in the top two!
Heather is not only a very personable and friendly lady, she is also a confident, dedicated, and talented pool player. She is a true champion in every sense of the word.
She also won two WPBA Qualifiers that she will use on the WPBA tour in 2008 as she plays with the pros all year again! The Hunter Classics Amateur Women's Tour is proud to name Heather Lloyd as the Hunter Classics Tour Champion of 2007.
