Shin-Mei Liu
Billiardsdigest.com is reporting that Shin-Mei Liu has defeated Allison Fisher to win the Amway Cup tournament in Taipei, Taiwan.
While Fisher has won the event four times in the past and played in the finals every year, she was unable to capture the title this year as Liu cruised to a 11-2 victory.
This was only the second time that a player from Taiwan has won this title.
Liu pocketed $20,000 for the win, while Fisher settled for $10,000. Monica Webb and Karen Corr filled out the top four spots. Jeanette Lee and Ga-Young Kim tied for fifth place.
