All it took for Alex Pagulayan to ascend to the top of the AzB Player Ranking list was to win last weekend's stop on the Guinness 9-Ball Tour. Pagulayan's win over countryman Dennis Orcollo in the finals was enough to move him up six spots into the top position.
With Pagulayan's rise to #1, Ralf Souquet and Shane Van Boening both dropped one spot to #2 and #3 respectively.
Orcollo's second place finish in Singapore was enough to push him ahead six spots into the #4 spot and Allison Fisher filled in the top five, dropping 2 spots.
The biggest climber this week was Matt Bulfin who finished in second place at the Viking Amateur Tour's Knoxville Championship. Bulfin climbed 1028 spots, into 48th place.
The AzB Player Rankings are based completely on website user's interest in a player on a week to week basis. Rankings are updated every week.
