Another expansion has hit the poolrooms for Kings Bay Promotions and Sterling Gaming. On June 19-20, the 2004 Fury Tidewater Amateur 9-Ball Tour had its first stop of the season. With 23 players from North Carolina participating at On Cue Sports Bar in Greenville, N.C the play was intense. Several newcomers joined us for this event along with some of our old buddies that follow our Carolina Division Events. Lee Bryant took 1st place from players and got an entry into the Carolina Open in August. Don Ross took 2nd while 3rd place was disqualified due to in eligibility. Rounding out the final money was 4th place William Cloud, 5th/6th place Frank Owens (room owner), Allen Love, and 7th/8th places Larry Rhodes and Al Garganus.
