The Viking Cue Amateur 9-Ball Tour's $1000 Added Event on Saturday, Sept, 13th, 2008 was hosted by Murphy's Brass Rail in Winder, GA. This Event was the 1st qualifier event for the new ATS US Pro Tour (www.ats4pool.com). The event drew in a full field of players on the small chart. The event was completed in 1 day and offered $1305 prize fund as well as paid entry for the winner of the event into the ATS $20,000 added event scheduled at Mr. Cues II in Atlanta, GA that will be held March 9th - 15th, 2009,
Jeff Lavinge won the event and the $175 entry into the ATS US Pro Tour event. Lavinge made his way undefeated thru the bottom of the bracket sending the following to the left hand of the chart: Dave McNown 9-6; Antonio Henderson 9-3; John Visotsky 9-2; Bryant Walker 9-8 in the match for the "Hot Seat" and then defeated Jason Stemen in set one 9-1 of the double elmination format offered by The Viking Cue 9-Ball Amateur Tour.
Jason Stemen placed 2nd after he worked his way back from the one loss side. Stemen was defeated in round one by Bryant Walker 9-8; sending him to the one loss side where he elminated Greg Nodine 9-4; Antionio Henderson 9-2; Robert Chambliss 9-3; David Shadden 9-8; John Visotsky 9-7; and defeated Bryant Walker in the quarter finals 9-8 only to loss to Lavinge in set one of the finals.

4th John Visotsky $105
