Barry Behrman and Shannon Paschall, co-promoters of the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships, have annonuced the elimination of the late registration fee for this year's event. "The economy has hit pro pool hard and this is a good time to be a bit more generous than in the past." Says Behrman.
Shannon Paschall adds: "But no one should wait until the last minute. We expect a full field and anyone who does not preregister cannot be guaranteed a spot. The last thing we want is for a player to drive to the U.S. Open with his entry fee and then be told that we cannot get him into the field because it is full."
So the best course of action is to get your entry fees in early. Send your $500 to:

Please write: US Open entry fee on the notation line of your check.
