The 19th stop of the Hampton Ridge 9-ball tour was held at Comet Billiards in Parsippany NJ. Special thanks to Bill Haley for hosting the event.
Leading the way on the top half of the bracket was Lee Holt with wins over Ken Sielatycki 7-2, Mike Miller 7-5 and Matt Krah 7-5.
Leading the way on the bottom half of the bracket was Larry Nevel with wins over Joe Scott 7-4, Jack Calovita 7-1 and Rob Hart 7-4. Now the stage was to see who would get the hot seat. It was Lee Holt Vs. Larry Nevel. Larry took control of the match from the beginning and never looked back with a 7-3 win giving him the hot seat and sending Lee Holt to the one loss side.
On the one loss side it was Matt Krah vs Rob Hart. The winner would move on and the loser would have to settle for 4th place. Rob Hart pulled away after it was 2-2 and won the match 7-4 leaving Matt Krah to settle for 4th place. Waiting for Rob Hart was Lee Holt; winner goes to the finals and loser will settle for 3rd place. Lee Holt got to an early lead and held off Rob Hart to win the match 7-4.
In the final it was Larry Nevel Vs Lee Holt, Lee jumped to an early lead 3-1. Larry turned it up winning the next 8 games winning the game 9-3.
