Kevin West was undefeated through a field of 68 players to win the Falcon Cue 9-Ball Tour stop at Fast Eddies in Fairfax, VA.
West defeated Jim Henson 9-4 for the hot-seat, and Henson was then handed his second loss by Mike Davis on the one-loss side. Davis had the distinction of beating the current #2 player on the Falcon Cue Tour points list, Keith McCready, twice in this event.
Davis came up just short in the final match, where he fell to West 9-8 and was forced to settle for second place. West collected $1000 for first, while Davis took home $600 for second. Henson and Chris Loar filled out the top four spots.
The ladies division featured 19 players and Donna Rooney won a two set final match against Jinhee Park. Rooney lost the first set 7-6, but won the second 7-2 for the tournament win. Rooney collected $275 for first, while Park settled for $175 in second place prize money. Tommie Ann Keyser and Mary Manuel filled out the top four positions.
The Falcon Cue 9-Ball Tour will be at Fast Eddie's Billiard Cafe in Alexandria, VA next weekend for a $2000 added event.
