The Southeast Open Tour was at Doodles Billiards and Grill in Hinesville, GA for their second stop of the new season. Tour director Tommy Kennedy took advantage of having Tom Potter to help keep things running smooth, and won the event.
Kennedy had to come back from the one-loss side to win though, as local schoolteacher Paul Brown took Kennedy to school 7-6 on Saturday.
David Broxson ended up taking the hot-seat with a 9-5 win over Rod Rentz, but Broxson was unable to stop Kennedy in the finals as Kennedy scored an 11-8 win.
Kennedy collected $600 for first, while Broxson settled for $400. Rentz and Ron Park filled out the top four spots. Jerry Bernhard was the top finishing junior and he collected $50.
The SE Open 9-Ball Tour will be at Veterans Billiards in Port Charlotte, FL on April 18th for a one day event.
