Tommy Kennedy bounced back from a loss early Sunday to win the South East Open 9-Ball Tour stop at Mr.Cues 2 in Atlanta, GA.
Kennedy lost his first match on Sunday morning to local player Doug Kessler 9-7, but fought his way through the one-loss side to meet up with Kessler once again. A victory over Kessler set up the final match where Kennedy defeated BJ Ussery for the win.
Kennedy collected $800 for first and Ussery settled for $500 for second place. Kessler and Johnny Archer filled out the top four spots. Both of Archer's losses were to Kennedy.
The SE Open 9-Ball Tour also held a charity event on Friday night to benefit Jerry's Kids. Kennedy, Archer, Ron Park, Katie Cowan and Okinawa Slim were all part of the charity event.
The SE Open 9-Ball Tour will be at The Pool Room in Marietta, GA on March 8-9 for their next event.
