Kelly Fisher continued her domination of the Chesapeake Area Tour this weekend with an undefeated run through a field of 25 other players at Champion Billiards Sports Café in Laurel, MD.
Fisher took the hot-seat with a 7-6 win over Brenda Heras from Mexico. Heras then defeated Tina Meraglio 7-4 to earn the rematch with Fisher. While the first match between Fisher and Heras was close, Fisher took control of this match early and cruised to a 7-3 win.
Fisher pocketed $450 for first place, while Heras settled for $325. This event was a qualifier for the WPBA Nationals in New Mexico later this year. Fisher already has a spot in that tournament, so the qualifier went to Haris. Meraglio and Cathy Friend filled out the top four spots.
The Chesapeake Area Tour will be at Champion Billiards Sports Café in Frederick, MD on September 18th-19th for their next event.
