Dear Friends,
The recent Katrina disaster has prompted many individuals and businesses within the billiard industry to do their part in helping with the relief and rebuilding efforts. Steve Lillis of Gospel Trick Shot Ministries, Inc., Bill Haley of Comet Billiards, and Tom Rossman of Dr Cue Promotions are coordinating a fund raising effort for this cause in conjuction with the upcoming Comet Classic -- Artistic Pool Open. This event will be held November 18 -- 20, 2005 at the Comet Billiards location and will feature some of the top "artistic pool" players in the world.
Donations of product and/or monetary contributions are being requested in this mission of "reaching out" to those that need it in so many ways. Products will be raffled off and funds acquired for them will be sent to one or more of the many approved relief organizations dealing with this disaster directly.
