Julie Kelly
The WPBA Website is reporting that Julie Kelly has won the 2004 Cuetec Cues Canadian Classic.
Kelly dropped a match to Karen Corr on Saturday, but defeated Gerda Hostatter, Romana Dokovic and Vivian Villarreal to make her way to the TV matches on Sunday.
Kelly made the most of her time on TV, with three straight televised matches. First she defeated Hsin Huang, who turned in her second 4th place finish this season. After the win over Huang, Kelly exacted her revenge on Corr with a 7-4 win sending Corr to the stands in third place.
In the finals Kelly scored another 7-4 win, this time over #1 ranked Allison Fisher. The second place finish by Fisher will allow her to keep her #1 ranking, but only by 10 points over Karen Corr.
