The Fast Eddie's Olhausen 9-Ball Tour picked up in Houston at the Fast Eddies FM 1960 location for its eleventh stop of the 2008 season.
Feeling the effects of the storm, 70 entered the two divisions battling for the $2100 added money.
In the Open division, finishing in the 9-12 spots were Marc Garza, Rafael Martinez, Manual Ayala, and Mickey Woinicki. Each received $100 for their hard work.
The 7-8 spots were claimed by Rick Stanley and David Henson. They played hard and took home $140.00 for it.
The 5-6th spots were paid to Juan Taylor and Andy Jethwa. Both played well and were happy to receive $260.00 for a weekends work.
Fourth place was awarded to James Davis Sr. and James was glad to get it. He took home $410.00 for his efforts and fine performance.
Stoney Stone was in town on business from Florida and stopped by long enough to claim 3rd place and $580.00. He played well and we hope to see him again.
Jui Lung Chen, the 2006-07 Player of the Year, had won the hot seat over Doug Young and that meant Doug must handle Stoney in order to play Chen for all of it. He bested Stoney by a score of 7-5 and went on to face Chen in the finals. Chen just proved to be too much this day by defeating Doug by a score of 9-1.
Doug received $740.00 for his weekend while Chen captured 1st place and $1140.00 as the victor.
