The action continues this weekend in the mid-Atlantic region with the J. Pechauer Custom Cues Northeast Women's 9-Ball Tour (JPNEWT) in full force at Primetime Bar & Grill in Sayreville, New Jersey (
www.ptsportsbar.com). Many thanks to owner Kevin Seltzer and his staff for hosting the New Jersey State 9-Ball Championships!
The approximately $3000 added WPBA US Open qualifier has most certainly brought out a strong field as has been the case for the tour and for all US Open qualifiers. Included in the mix, Kelly Fisher, Karen Corr, Julie Kelly, Iris Ranola, Liz Ford, Megan Smith and Val Finnie. AZBilliards will provide brackets this weekend so that you can keep up with your favorite player.
For those of you in the area, don't forget about the comedy theatre that holds shows on Friday and Saturday and seats approximately 400 (in addition to the pool scene). Primetime has been a great supporter of regional pool, this is a great way to support them as well. Contact the venue directly at (732) 721-6555 for more information or visit www.primetimecomedyonline.com
And, if you can't make it this time around, the schedule continues to grow as the year moves along. A new date has been added to the tour schedule which is scheduled for August 22nd-23rd at Hot Shots Billiards (hotshotnj.com) in Deptford, New Jersey. This approximately $1500 added stop is slated to be a qualifier for the WPBA Colorado Classic. Then, the women are off to Castle Billiards (www.castlebilliards.com) in East Rutherford, NJ (approx. $1500 added) on September 26th-27th.
If you are interested in finding out more about the tour, being added to the email distribution list, or sponsorship opportunities, visit www.jpnewt.com or contact Linda Shea directly at email sheaece@aol.com or call (443) 852-0020.
