Stop # 5 of the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour's 2014-2015 season will be at Hippo's House Of Billiards in Utica NY on Nov 8 & 9 2014. This event will be the 6th annual "Al Conte Memorial", held to celebrate the memory of one of our sports dear departed friends. Al was one of our sports most well liked and respected people. He was a friend to everyone who came to know him. He will always be deeply missed by all of us! Vic Jr., his wife Carrie and the entire Conte family deserve our thanks for hosting what promises to be another great event in memory of "Big Al". Why not come and be a part of it!

 

Hippo's has always been one of upstate New York's premier rooms. They have everything needed for a great time including great equipment to delicious home made food specials. You could even win a $1,275 custom engraved Joss cue by participating in Hippo's cue raffle. UPDATE: There are currently 15 players with a chance to win a free $150 entry into our $25,000 Added Turning Stone Classic XXIII 9-Ball Open January 8-11, 2015. All of those 15 players that come to compete at Hippo's will be placed in a drawing for the free entry. This prize is not transferable, and should the winner not be able to go, another name will be chosen. ALSO, as has been the case since the first "Al Conte Memorial", an anonymous donor has donated an entry into this event at Hippo's in memory of his good friend Al. That person will be chosen by the Conte family.

 

This event at Hippo's will consist of a $1500 added Saturday and Sunday Main Event (entry Fee $120 for pro level or $70 for non pro level) and a $500 added consolation event on Sunday ($20 Entry Fee) for those non pro level players eliminated from the main event on Saturday. Both events will run simultaneously on Sunday until completion.
