Yorkville, New York (November 5, 2009) –The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is heading to Hippo's House of Billiards on Saturday November 7th & Sunday November 8th. This event will be the first Al Conte Memorial. “Al was one of the good guys in the business and treated all who knew him as a friend. He was one of the greatest pool table mechanics in the world. I personally know that Brunswick would consult Al whenever they had a problem with any of their table designs. Whenever Al would come to recover tables at my pool room, I could have charged admission. I never saw so many people show up at 8 am to watch someone work. He would always take the time to answer all of the curious onlooker's questions. Al's passing has left a big gap in the pool world which will never be filled”, said Mike Zuglan, owner of the Joss Tour.
The Conte family, owners of Hippos House of Billiards, invites ALL of you to come and be a part of this great event.
