Stop 11 of our 2023/2024 Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour will be the “Massachusetts State 9-Ball Championships II” at Amazin Billiards in Malden MA (near Boston) on Feb. 3 & 4. This will be only our second trip to Amazin Billiards so please come out and show your support to owner Mazin Shooni and his great room that does much for pool in New England!. Amazin is home to 14, 9ft pool tables with fresh Simonis cloth. They also have 4, 10ft heated carom tables and a 12 foot Snooker table for you to enjoy between matches. Amazin Billiards is one of the last true pool halls with an old school vibe but has embraced technology, as every pool table in the room is equipped with a high quality streaming setup and tablets for live scoring! Also, while there, you could even win a gorgeous custom engraved Joss Cue valued at $1,500 in their cue raffle. Anyone can enter and you Do Not need to be present to win! The cue drawing will be immediately prior to the final match of the main event.

This event at Amazin Billiards will consist of a $1500 added Saturday and Sunday Main Event (entry Fee $120 for pro level or $70 for non pro level) and a $500 added second chance event on Sunday ($20 Entry Fee) for those non pro level players eliminated from the main event on Saturday. All of our Pool Hall main events are races to 9 on the winners side and races to 7 on the one loss side. I do reserve the right to alter the format in the event of very large fields or at the direction of the host room.
For those of you coming to play, please arrive on Saturday Feb. 3 Before 11:00 AM, and in proper dress please. Yes, jeans and sneakers are permitted in our billiard parlor events. But please, NO T-SHIRTS, TANKS, SHORTS OR SWEATS.
