Joss NE 9-Ball Tour Announces 2018/2019 Schedule

Players & Fans,

 

I am very proud to announce my Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour's upcoming 2018-2019 season schedule. This new season will mark our 22nd consecutive year in business! I estimate that we have held about 450 regular season events, as well as 40+ major industry events. This season will be no exception as I have already scheduled the $25,000 added Turning Stone Classic XXXI 9-Ball Open for January 3-6, 2019 and a second Turning Stone event is currently in negotiations for the Summer of 2019. Our 3rd "Joss Junior 9-Ball Championship" tournament will be held on January 26 & 27, 2019 at Sharp Shooters Billiards & Sports Pub in Amsterdam NY with 2 divisions, 18 & under and 12 & under. No cash will be awarded but there will be many valuable prizes for the kids. We are always open to any donations for this event for the new generation of our game. All donated items will go directly to the participants. If interested in making any kind of donation, please contact Mike Zuglan at 518-356-7163. Players and parents are urged to pre register with me early so we may properly plan our event.

 

In addition to the Turning Stone event(s) and the Junior event, There will be 16 regular season billiard parlor events including a first ever FargoRate handicap tournament at Union Station Billiards in Protland Maine. All events will feature a minimum of $2,000 to $5,000 total added money. All regular season events will consist of a Saturday and Sunday main event and a $500 added second chance event on Sunday for those non pro level players eliminated from the main event.

 

Our great line up of generous host rooms this season will include (in no particular order): TJ's Classic Billiards (Waterville ME). East Ridge Billiards (Rochester NY). Sharp Shooters Billiards & Sports Pub (2 events plus Junior event - Amsterdam NY). Raxx Pool Room & Grill (W. Hempstead NY). Snookers Billiards Bar & Grill (3 events - Providence RI). Union Station Billiards (2 events - Portland ME). Trick Shot Billiards & Sports Pub (Clifton Park NY). The Spot Billiards-Cafe Lounge (Nanuet NY). Brick House Billiards (N. Syracuse NY). And our newest room, Utica Billiards On The Boulevard (2 events - Utica NY). I would like to personally thank each and every one of our host facilities for being a part of the tour, allowing all of us the use of there great rooms, and for helping to keep our great sport alive and kicking. 

 

I would also like to thank all of our most generous sponsors this season for their continued support. Please note that once again this season in an effort to speed things up, final registration on Saturdays will be at 11:30 am Sharp. Please pass this important information on so we may try to conclude at a reasonable hour. Our simple billiard parlor dress code will once again be: NO T-shirts, tanks, sweats or shorts! Jeans, sneakers and a collared shirt will be just fine. Entry fees (excluding the Ocean State, the handicapped event at Union Station and the Turning Stone Events) will once again be $70 for non pro level players and $120 for pro level players. I alone will make the determination between pro and non pro level. Tour membership will again be $40 seasonal or $15 for each single event (TS excluded). A $40 seasonal membership would save the player $50 on thier Turning Stone entry fee at least once and possibly twice, so to coin a phrase "membership has its privileges".

As of this writing, we still have our 2017-2018 season finale coming up on August 23 - 26. The $25,000 Added Turning Stone Classic XXX9-Ball Open promises to be another great world class event. Come see us in The Event Center at Turning Stone and be treated to Free admission, Free posters, $10 Casino Free plays, all in the most comfortable world class arena anywhere.
