The 18th Stop of the Hampton Ridge 9-ball tour was held at American Billiards in Quakertown PA. A strong field with players like Josh Brothers, Larry Nevels, Brandon Sluzalis, Mike Miller, Lee Holt and Matt Krah were in attendance for this one.
Leading the way on the top side of the bracket was Josh Brothers with wins over Phil Sherman 7-3, Steve Choy 7-3 and Brandon Sulalis 7-5.
On the bottom half of the bracket it was Larry Nevels with wins over Lee Holt, 7-3 Al Waldo and Matt Krah 7-2.
Fighting for the hot seat was Josh Brothers Vs Larry Nevels. From the beginning Larry took control of the match, when it was all said and done Larry won easily 7-3, giving him the hot seatand sending Josh to the one loss side.
On the one loss side it was Brandon Sluzalis working his way through the one loss side with wins over Mike Miller 7-4 and Matt Krah 7-6. Next Brandon had to face Josh Brothers to see who would go to the finals. Just like the first time around it was a good match with the same results Josh winning 7-5.
The finale was Larry Nevels Vs Josh Brothers. This was a great match. Josh jumped out to an early lead 7-4, Larry came right back to make it 7-7. Larry made one mistake and that cost him the next two games, Josh won the match 9-7
