Thank you to The Fan Club in East Wareham, MA for hosting the 3rd stop of the “Rack ‘EM Up” New England 9 Ball Tour. Also, thank you to all of the players who helped make another full field possible. Now for the results:
Four players led the way at the October 24th tour stop, winning their first four matches: Norm Lemeiux, DJ Hopkins, Joey Dupuis, and Jason Manos. Moving into the hot seat match, Dupuis and Lemeiux proved to be the players to beat for the day. However, Dupuis could not be stopped, winning the hot seat match to await his new opponent.
Down to the final four and it was crunch time. With Joey Dupuis waiting in the hot seat, Pete Bowman and Steve Sutton met up in the quarterfinals. With a little bit of luck, Steve received some nice breaks and defeated Pete Bowman to move on to play Norm Lemeiux in the semi-final match. In an intense hill-hill battle Norm slightly edged out Steve Sutton to reach the finals with Joey Dupuis.
With his work cut out for him, Lemeiux began the difficult task of defeating Dupuis twice. Although Dupuis came out with an impressive lead, Lemeiux fought back to make it a hill-hill match. However, despite Lemeiux's best efforts Dupuis came out the victor. Congratulations to Joey Dupuis for a great win.
