After winning the Joss Ocean State 9-Ball Championship this past weekend Jeremy Sossei showed up at Raxx to play in their weekly Open 9-Ball Tournament. This weeks open tournament featured several monsters including Shin Park, Frankie Hernandez, George "Ginky" San Souci and Jeremy Sossei. Jeremy quickly found himself on the one loss side after taking a first round beating from Bobby Blackmore. However as we saw in the Ocean State Championship being down and nearly out means nothing to Jeremy. After back to back hill hill matches with Rob Omen and Bobby Blackmore Jeremy met up with Frankie Hernandez and Ginky defeating each of these great players by a score of 4-2 to get himself into the finals.
Waiting for Jeremy in the finals was Mike Fingers with Fingers just defeating Ginky by a score of 5-1 to take the hotseat. A few mistakes by Fingers early gave Jeremy a 2-0 lead. Mike bounced back to tie the match at 2 and again at 4 but Jeremy would step up and take the final 3 games to win his second Raxx Weekly Open in just as many weeks.
