Day two is complete at the 6th Japan Cup with Efren Reyes, Francisco Bustamante, Ralf Souquet, Thorsten Hohmann, Mika Immonen, Charlie Williams, Roel Esquillo and Kiyoshi Suzuki advancing to the final 16 on the winners side.
Still playing on the one-loss side are Antonio Lining, Ramil Gallego, Young Hwa Jeong, Hiroshi Takenaka, Shintaro Sugaya, Go Takami and Syuji Nagata while Warren Kiamco, Dennis Orcullo, Terukazu Mukai are all three eliminated.
The comeback win of the day belonged to Kiyoshi Suzuki who trailed Antonio Lining 4-0, but came back to win 9-8.
Reigning world champion Thorsten Hohmann put in a great performance on day two with back-to-back 9-3 wins over Masayuki Shamada and Ramil Gallego.
