A field of 33 'ladies in black' made their way to Kiss Shot Bar & Billiards in Coral Springs, FL this Florida to celebrate the birthday of Ladies Spirit Tour co-director Heather Barkley. They also took a little time from the celebration to hold a WPBA Qualifier for the Cuetec Cues Southeast Classic.
The final twelve players will come back on Sunday, assured of placing in the cash. The winners side will feature Wendy Jans vs Jeannie Seaver and Bonnie Coats vs Tracie Hines.
Meanwhile, the one loss side matches will be Stephanie Mitchell vs Helene Caukin, Crystal McCormick vs Emily Wilmoth, Debbie Schjodt vs Lisa Hamilton and Sue Bedore vs Julia Gabriel. Gabriel was the last player to make it into Sunday play with a hill-hill win over Vanessa Seaver.
Barkley's birthday celebration was put together by fellow tour director Bonnie Coats who contacted the majority of the players and arranged the whole 'dress all in black' theme. much to Barkley's surprise.
The Ladies Spirit Tour is sponsored by LTL Universe who makes it possible for each event to be a WPBA qualifier this season.
