The International Pool Tour Pro-Am Championship is down to the final 16 players. There is $50,000 at stake in this single elimination, race-to-three format, and the final match is guaranteed to be between two different teams. That means that the final match at 3pm will be a race to three for $50,000 to the winning team.
Day one had many great matches, including Raj Hundal's performance of winning the lag and running out the set against Mark Jarvis! Also, many of the 16 pros have been knocked out of the tournament. Of the 16 pros, only 9 remain in the final sixteen players. Matches start at noon (Chicago time) and there are four rounds with the final kicking off at 3pm. If you can't make it in person, visit our homepage for brackets and a streaming web cam to catch some of the action.
Doors will open to the public at 11:30am both days, and admission is free. Palace Billiards is located at 160 W Roosevelt Rd., Villa Park, IL. For directions and more information, call Palace Billiards at (630) 941-3500 or visit www.palacesportsbar.com.
